There are so many people that I have to thank that have helped me and supported me over the years. They are all very important to me and very instrumental in helping me get to where I am today.

Shaun Bennett, my husband the love of my life, we met when I was about to start preparing for my first competition and you have stuck by my side through more competitions, university and a career change. You have endured years of my moods and have supported me through the ups and downs of my chaotic life. There are not enough words or actions to express my gratitude and love that I have for you. You never stopped believing in me and for that I am truly lucky.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love you.

Mom and Dad, I would not be where I am today if it wasn’t for your unconditional support. One day I hope to repay you someway, somehow. You will never know just how much it means to me that you have supported me during 7 years of university and a couple of career changes. Thank you so very much. I am very lucky to have such supportive parents. I love you guys. (Oh, and yes, big brother Kim - thank you for being supportive throughout the years!)

Jay Hutton, my ‘guardian bodybuilder’, you are role model, a mentor and above all else, a true friend. You helped me change my life and realize a passion. You endured YEARS of my colourful personality through competition preparation - and that has to be commended! You pushed me, consoled me, educated me and showed me how to be a first-class bodybuilder. It means a lot to have someone who is a great sportsman, fantastic poser and all-around great person as one of my closest and dearest friends. Thank you for all you have done and I hope that one-day I will be able to repay you for your efforts. I wish you all the best in your competitive future as one of Canada’s top bodybuilders. I will be there to support you in everything you pursue.

To all my friends and family in Edmonton and in Fort Nelson who have stuck by me throughout so many competitions, thank you for your understanding and patience.
To all my fellow competitors in Alberta - thank you for your camaraderie and motivation. The athletes in Alberta are exceptional and I am truly humbled to be a part of the Alberta team.

To all my sponsors over the years:

Oliver Chiropractic Wellness Clinic, Valleyview Buffalo Company, MUD Studio (Dana Furlong), Nails by Nancy (Nancy Yeremy), Avanti and the Sanctuary (Natalia, Kathleen), Hardcore Gym, Prize Possessions, Albertabodybuilding.com (ABF Magazine – David Reimche) and Mom and Dad! - Thank you! I could not have competed without your help.

If I have forgotten anyone here, it is not deliberate. Thank you to everyone for the encouragement, the help and the friendships.
